Refund & Withdrawal Policy

1. Digital Products — All Sales Final

Femme Society sells digital products exclusively (ebooks, audiobooks, and workout plans). Due to the nature of digital content, which is delivered immediately upon purchase and cannot be "returned," all sales are considered final and non-refundable once the digital content has been made available to you.

This policy is in accordance with EU consumer protection law, specifically Section 29(1)(m) of Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.) implementing EU Directive 2011/83/EU.

2. Your Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

Under EU law, consumers purchasing online generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal — the right to cancel a purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

However, this right does not apply to digital content not delivered on a tangible medium when all three of the following conditions are met:

  1. Express consent: Before completing your purchase, you expressly consented to the immediate delivery of the digital content (before the 14-day withdrawal period expired).
  2. Acknowledgment: You acknowledged that by consenting to immediate delivery, you lose your right of withdrawal.
  3. Confirmation: We sent you written confirmation (via email) of your consent and acknowledgment.

During checkout, you are asked to check a mandatory box confirming both your consent and acknowledgment. Your order confirmation email serves as the written confirmation on a durable medium.

3. When We Will Issue a Refund

Even though digital product sales are generally final, we will issue a full refund or provide a replacement in the following cases:

  • Defective product: The digital file is corrupted, incomplete, or otherwise unusable.
  • Wrong product delivered: You received a different product than what you ordered.
  • Product does not match description: The content is substantially different from what was described on the product page.
  • Technical issues on our end: You are unable to access or download the product due to a problem with our delivery system (not due to your own device or software).
  • Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same product.

4. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us within 30 days of your purchase at:

  • The email address used for the purchase
  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue (with screenshots if applicable)

We will review your request and respond within 30 calendar days. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 14 business days.

5. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback (payment dispute) with your bank or credit card provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to contest the chargeback and provide evidence of digital content delivery and your express consent to waive the right of withdrawal.

We encourage you to contact us first — we are committed to resolving any issues fairly and promptly.

6. Alternative Dispute Resolution

If your refund request is denied and you disagree with our decision, you may seek resolution through the competent conciliation body:

This is a free, out-of-court dispute resolution mechanism available to consumers. You also retain the right to pursue the matter in court.

7. Model Withdrawal Form

In accordance with EU consumer protection law, we provide the following model withdrawal form. You may use this form to exercise your right of withdrawal in cases where it applies (i.e., when you have not given express consent to immediate delivery of digital content).

8. US Customers

If you are located in the United States, please note that digital product purchases are final and non-refundable once the content is delivered, except in the cases described in Section 3 above. This policy is consistent with standard industry practices for digital goods.
